Been reading WLW romances for a few decades now and there are many that have touched me enough that I keep a list of rereads for when I need a mental hug/brain candy/am in a nasty funk or depressed. Since I'm an emotional reader as well as one who values an editor and proofreader, these books may be very well written or technical pieces of poo. But I love them and you might, too.

Thanks for this. We overlap quite a lot (annnnd I’m way behind checking the ones I read and favorited).
Your name is one that a dear friend uses. You don't happen to live in Germany do you?
It is a great name, after my crush for Lanaril. 😏 Nope, I do not live in Germany.
The Alsea series was pretty good! I used to play a video game under Lancer and my nickname. It was fun to play against my friend Vellmar. :-)
I agree. I’m currently rereading it with two book pals that had not read the series yet and it has been great fun to see how much they are enjoying it. Besides I finally had the courage to reread Catalyst (that one is action packed but so hard to read—ended up loving it even more).
I think the series has aged particularly well, especially considering our political times. (Moving to Alsea, with a good Lancer, would be a dream.)
