    The Constellation of Forgotten Things

    The Constellation of Forgotten Things

    Tiffany Chu

When love transcends the boundaries of time, memory, and even death itself. In the world of Reveria, broken dreams rise as trails of light across the night sky. A blacksmith's boy vanishes into rebellion. Two cosmic beings—one of Memory, one of Void—discover their forbidden love might reshape reality. The Constellation of Forgotten Things weaves together interconnected tales of love that defies impossible distances: between life and death, earth and sky, remembering and forgetting. Each story illuminates a different facet of love's power to endure—and its cost. This collection is both an act of remembrance and a celebration of the stories we tell to keep our beloveds alive, proving that some bonds transcend even the veil between worlds. Perfect for readers who love the lyricism of Madeline Miller and Alix E. Harrow, the emotional storytelling of Studio Ghibli films, and the mythic beauty of Ursula K. Le Guin's work. If you read for gorgeous language and deep feeling rather than fast plots—these stories will captivate you. Love that would change the constellations and the reality of existence.

    Question: Interested in book, but…?

🙂 Reviews are great. Blurb is appealing. Given the awards, the writing and world building must be great.

🤔 My concern is that I’m not a fan of MLM stories (I am a big fan of WLW ones) and in fantasy I love good, strong and complex, female characters (see Reign & Ruin, Priestess, Chronicles of Alsea, This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me).

So — should I go for this one?

First. I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoy chapters with titles (this one is called “Transition Out”). 😌

Second. I’m wondering what space transition would do to retina problems. 👁️That said, DeLancey does a fantastic work describing the problems of space navigation. 🚀

The premise is interesting… historical wlw romance, a widow, bees. But I found the #1 of the series lacking so I’m a bit gun shy 😧. Also I confess a material snobbery 😬: the cover is not al all appealing and shush me away from the book.

That Ryan chapter made me drop my jaw like three times. I love listening to books like this because I feel like the twists are revealed better. I am multitasking, listening and working or walking or whatever so my brain doesn't make the connections as fast as when I'm reading. Does that make sense?
