According to the ACNUR, close to 7,9 million Venezuelans have emigrated as of May 2025. This is a collection of fiction and nonfiction novels, essays, interviews, poems, and anthologies from Venezuelan authors relating to the experience of the Venezuelan Migrant and Immigrant —their fears, their melancholies, their joys, their perpetual two-naturedness— and of their search for home.

I tried to find more books in English so as to make this list more accesible, but alas, most of these works have not been translated. All of the translated English titles I could find are placed next to their original Spanish editions.
Great list, do you have a personal favourite out of your selection?
I unfortunately haven't read any book here in it's entirety, but I'm currently reading Florecer Lejos de Casa and it's incredible so far. The memories and stories narrated by the various authors include a wide range of topics, experiences and outlooks on migration and the venezuelan diaspora (topics like prostitution, censorship, racism and xenophobia perpetrated against venezuelans and by venezuelans, and more). The story Afuera y Adentro by Carolina Acosta-Azuru, which is included in the book, gave me chills. I also recommend it because the coordinator who compiled all of these stories made it free to read online here
