2026 Hugo Awards (Book categories)
This is the novels, novellas, novelettes (if they exists on Pagebound), first book of the series and one book from the best author that are nominated for a Hugo Award in 2026. I personally need an overview on what to catch on for the votes (closing beginning of August :))

Thanks for putting this together! I’m finally starting to work through the categories I’m going to vote on and this is so helpful. I’m loving all the stunning illustrations in the graphic novels and how different the tone of the stories is. What’s your focus at the moment?

Good luck! Novels is tough but so many of them look so good! The graphic novels are wonderful - such different art styles and use of colour, it feels like I'm at a feast. The Space Cat has been the biggest surprise for me so far - it's such a fun story with so much silliness, including in the illustrations, but also some lovely themes. I think after that I'll do novellas or short stories
Niiice I will try to check out Space Cat then!! 👀 Not a big fan of the novellas this year sadly but I'm excited to read the raven scholar, and the incandescent is really fun so far!
That's annoying about the novellas, but I agree The Raven Scholar looks great! Hope you love The Space Cat too
