omg YES love 2Ha so much!!! I have yet to read the other two you mentioned! Definitely interested though in getting to them eventually 👀 especially Yuwu
I also love MDZS and SVSSS! oddly enough, TGCF is the most popular MXTX series probably right? but I've enjoyed that the least so far 😶🌫️ not sure what caused me to pause book 2 in the first place, but I've just been procrastinating getting back into it 🤷♀️
I hope you enjoy yuwu when you get to it! I'm addicted to Meatbun's writing style! I plan to read case file compendium once it's fully translated
yeah i've noticed that even though tgcf is like the most popular danmei fans usually prefer mdzs more. I guess i'll find out why once I get to them. I'm thinking of starting tgcf soon👀
ohh svsss! I read the first 2 volumes but haven't started with the third yet. I think it's because I read it immediately after 2ha? I should have enjoyed it a lot more but it just didn't hit after the experience that was 2ha

ohh feel free to lmk what you think about tgcf! I thought I heard that more people preferred it over MDZS actually :0 not sure though! I def prefer MDZS so far haha but maybe TGCF gets better later? 🤔 perhaps it's the pacing throwing me off hmm..
lolol yeah it seems people are way more divided on SVSSS so that's fair! I think the humor just clicked for me haha but it's been a while since I read it so I wonder how I'd feel about it now in comparison to other danmei and books in general 🤔 I read it before it was officially licensed and published so that could also be different potentially?
I'll probably start tgcf tomorrow or day after (depends on when my friend can start, we're buddy reading!) I'll be sure to let you know what I think🫡

Same!! and omg ofc :') I DNF lot of stuff personally since I believe that if it's not for me, then why should I keep plowing through it Dx Reading should be enjoyable!! It feels less overwhelming that way too imo, but I get that some people may feel more pressured to finish the books they started too, or to try to force themselves to like it if they think they SHOULD like it, if that makes sense. That was sorta me for TGCF since I felt like I was supposed to like it, so I actually picked back up after dropping it but I ended up dropping it again LOL 😆 It seems like you feel like you might feel that way about SVSSS, and in that case I think you should go with where your own interests lie 🙂↕️💖
Ooh yes I am a serial DNF-er too🙂↕️If I don't like a book or series I'll either dnf it completely or put it on indefinite pause. but I've also picked up books again after dnf-ing and actually liked them! I think it's because sometimes I'm not in the right mood or headspace to really enjoy a particular book yk?
I'm curious what I'll think of tgcf when I start it. I have mixed feelings about it bc I watched the anime/donghua but didn't like it that much. but there must be some reason everyone raves about it so much right? Besides I'll admit to being fanart-baited, there are so many talented artists in that fandom

yes I feel that! definitely what I feel like reading depends on the current vibes lolol.
ohh yeah the donghua and fanart are really pretty for sure!! I also love the visual design of Hua Cheng 🙂↕️ hope you like it better than the donghua! I feel like donghua pacing can be pretty weird in general. like the MDZS pacing felt off to me for example.

I really liked Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation! I would say that's my favourite so far. But I just finished vol 1 of The Husky and his White Cat Shizun and I think I'm really going to love that one too. 😍

omg YESS I love both of those sooo much 😭💖 Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation was my gateway into danmei so it definitely holds a special place in my heart 🥹
And 2Ha is so good too omg, I love Chu Wanning soo much. so precious 😭 I need to catch up with it!! I've binged the books through book 7 so fast when they come out, so I tried waiting longer this time so there will be more to read xD
