I got in a (very drunk) argument with my sister in law on Christmas Eve last year about women's ignored contributions to the historical record through textiles and weaving... and let me just say this list is everything I need to respark that argument, but with sources this time LOLOL
I actually did a book club at my yarn store and a bunch of these were on the list!!!! Sadly the store closed quite abruptly and we didn't keep going with that particular book club.
were there any that aren't on this list? I'm always looking for more on the subject!
We alternated between fiction and nonfiction and we also didn't just focus on fabric but also yarn, sheep and the wool industry, color, and the creative process - so I can't really think of anything that falls under "fabric/textiles" specifically. But I can review my libby list!
