Love as sweet as Maple Syrup! šØš¦ CanLit romance
Romance Books by Canadian Authors. All sorts of romance (sweet, spicy, dark, light, different subgenres, etc.) so long as it's CanLit.
Have not read all of these, based on Pagebound users knowledge of CanLit Romance as well as my own. Trying to have at least one for each author. Slowly populating this so if you have recommendations, I will happily add them.

Hilary Rose has the Toronto Northmen series thatās loosely based on the Toronto maple Leafs. As a non-leafs fan some of the subtle comments/digs are hilarious.
Heather Grey - Bluefeild Beach Series takes place along Lake Huron. I have the first book, but havenāt read it yet.
Isnāt Bal Khabra Canadian? I have the third and newest, Revolve, in her Off the Ice series coming to me on Libby in a couple weeks. Itās a figure skating-hockey novel. I havenāt read the earlier two, but theyāre sports (hockey) romances as well.
She is! Reading the second book in the series right now.

- Stephanie Archer - heard lots of good things about her Vancouver Storm series. The last one is Gloves Off. Also heard good things about The Fake Out
Hannah Bonam-Young is a Canadian author writing romance set in Canada. Her newest, People Watching, came out in September. Iāve loved all her books but Out on a Limb and the Next duology are my favourites.

- Lily Chu - The Takedown, plus more
- Uzma Jalaluddin - Hana Khan Carries On plus others (next up on my TBR as itās a Fated Mates podcast deep dive)
- Amy Lea - The Influencer series, #2 is Exes and Oās
- Becka Mack - Playing for Keeps series, starting with Consider Me (another TBR of mine)
- Jackie Lau - Time Loops & Meet Cutes (also a TBR)
There are others, but as Iāve neither read nor TBRād them, Iāll leave them off my list for now.
Seasons of carnage low key sound alike a fun spooky read. I don't love the really dark dark romance so I think dark rom com is a good entry point
