More people should know about these! Granted, some of the stories are downright strange to the modern reader, but so so many of the themes & tropes we see in today's literature came from the old fairy tales (which came from the old myths & folklore.)

I collect vintage copies (i think my oldest is from the 1890s) and BOY are some strange! But I think it is so insightful to see what was being taught to children not all that long ago. They are windows into the world that adults wanted children to see.
I need to find out how to add book editions to include mine! And eventually it would be a cool quest!
