On charity anthologies : Some of the anthologies were only on sale for a period of time. Often, authors publish their short stories afterward so don't be afraid to look at the list of stories included and look up the author's catalog if you missed the sale!
Please, feel free to recommend more books I can add to the list! Keep them out of author's universe or series though, the goal for this list is to read "snack" short stories and novellas that can stand on their own.
It can be a collection of stories from one author, as long as each story is its own entity.
