A few authors have whole quests of their own, can we petition to get this made into a Stephen King universe main quest?

im assuming its not necessary to read in publishing order since they are all standalone but i like to read it in publishing order so you can tell how much king has grown in his writing.
Definitely not necessary but I do like to see how an author's writing progresses over the years!
It's not necessary, but he does love to reference his other stories in his books, and he does sort of have a "universe" where all his books are connected in some way. Reading in publication order is fun if you want to catch all the references.

Thank you so much for this list. I am trying to read every King in publishing order and I am on Firestarter now. Bevor I started to read in order I read some of the newer ones but I want to understand the connections he puts in his books so need to read the older ones first. đ€

How many of his books did everyone read so far? I just finished Firestarter which makes it 13⊠itâs crazy that this is just about 11% of the books he wrote in total.
I've only read 3 myself, but that's only been semi-recent. My parents gave me a ton of their books of King's so I want to make my way through them!
