These books were not chosen by me!! The Bocas Lit Fest is a Trinidad and Tobago based organisation that lifts up literary artists from the Caribbean. I wanted to have this list of books here instead of having to go back to their website when I wanted to reference it and thought that it may be useful to anyone looking for recent releases from Caribbean authors. No problem!! It's honestly mostly for me, because I was frustrated with basically all the most popular recommendations on here being US American-centric. I realised that that feeling came from me not being from the US, and, by extension, in a better place than most to find good local literature to share.
