The first 1/4 of the book needed to be longer. The world building started off great but the character building was lacking substance so by the time we got through the middle of the book I kept catching GLIMPSES of depth but she wouldn't dive deeper and I was left with too many shallow beginnings that made it harder to enjoy But the last 1/4 of the book OHH SHE PULLED ME BACK IN. Perhaps a lovers to enemies arc? A mysterious stranger?
I noticed the author had a tendency to leave some of the smaller details a float. For example a scene where the main character and a love interest meet at an open door way.... the door never gets closed or moved away from until suddenly they are magically on a bed? How'd we get here? Is the door still open? It's easy to loose someone in a story if you aren't following the thread of the small details you have laid for us. If this series is going to work I need a bigger second book, I need the small details be close ended and i need more depth Into the lore of the avariy, the masters, the MFC and the friends/interests. I almost wonder if this book could have flowed better as not a First person POV.

I really do reccomend this book. To help yourself physically you need to help yourself emotionally. This work is beautiful, easy to read, relatable and inspiring.

I began doing Nicole Sachs work on journal speak before reading the book. But reading this book took it to a whole new level for me. The stories are so inspiring and there is a whole network of people that have changed their lives. Your mind is your most power resource and the mindset shift I have had since beginning has been incredible. I'm not yet at the stage of seeing physical changes but mentally, I am happier, I am less stressed, I am perceiving my life from a more positive and grateful perspective and that alone is a huge victory. If you are unsure, I really reccomend reading this book all the way through and giving it a real try.
