List your favourite trope.
If your trope is more niche, feel free to define it so others can know more about it! Can be common or niche tropes!
Beneath it, put your favourite book recommendations for that trope!
Let's see what tropes are the most popular on this platform!!!

What's your favourite genre(s) to read and why? I love romance because I like the fact that they are very character-focused and it's centred around how these characters interact. Plus, it compliments other genres very well when done correctly. I love fantasy because I love escaping into fantastical worlds. It's the perfect blend of epic plots with rich character development. When people think of fantasy, they often think of Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones medieval type books but there's so many unique subgenres encompassed in the fantasy genre as a whole. I love Romantasy because when it's done correctly, it's a beautiful pairing of some of my favourite aspects of fantasy and romance.

There's only about 2 months left until 2025 is over (WHAT?!). I'll give you a moment to cry.
Moment over.
I'm wondering what everyone's plan is? For those that do reading challenges are we focused on finishing those up? Is anyone focused on finishing some quests maybe? Are you randomly picking out of a jar? Or are we just vibing until the end of the year? (relatable really)
I have a couple quests that's I'm 1-2 books away from gold so I was considering working on those but I still have to work on reading at least one of the seasonal books. I guess I'm just struggling to decide what I want to do! The seasonal readalongs are timely so it makes sense to get some of those done but finishing quests also makes me happy š I'm a bit of a completionist!
What about you guys? Tell me all your plans, the more chaotic the better!

iāve seen people handle their TBRs in so many different ways. i've seen some people only add the first book in a series, some add every single one, and some only add their next reads. soo i'm curious... how do y'all handle your TBRs? š
i've always added every book in a series to my TBR, but since i only tag the first book in my series tags, iām kinda thinking about only keeping that one on my TBR instead

Any recommendations for historical fiction set in the medieval or Tudor period? I'm planning on reading books by Hillary Mantel and Philippa Gregory, but I can't really think of any other authors or books.

I've been wanting to challenge myself and try Russian literature. The only book I can think of is War and Peace, but I think that's going to be too challenging for me at the moment. Any suggestions?
