It's a no from me. It was a sweet cowboy romance but I didn't like any of the characters and the leads didn't really have any chemistry. I was pretty bored throughout and there were so many spelling and grammar mistakes. I wouldn't recommend.

What is the one book you will always recommend to anyone, be they complete stranger or someone you know?
For me it is The Agony and the Ecstasy by Irving Stone. Historical fiction about Michelangeloâs life. It was absolutely riveting to me and made me obsessed with his sculpture work for some time specifically the lost sculptures. It is also the only novel that my mother and I have both read and something about that just sits right with me. Maybe because we have no commonality in our reading tastes otherwise. Weirdly I have never met anyone else who has read it, even though I know my mom read it for a book club while living in Sardinia and sent it to me on a whim when she was done with it.

I recently picked up a book with a fantastic premise and was dismayed to find it was full of orthography and grammar mistakes đ Each mistake ripped me out of the story and I only finished it because the story was gripping. In the end, it did affect my rating because the enjoyment just wasn't there...
Mistakes happen, and with self-published books it doesn't bother me but in this case the book was published by one of the biggest publishing houses in the country. In my opinion, it's disrespectful to the author who was expecting editing, as well as the reader who is encouraged to buy a copy only to find it full of mistakes.
Having seen the book industry from the inside while also being a reader, I noticed the shift from 'we publish books' to 'we publish content' đ¤
Maybe I'm old for expecting correct grammar in my reads đľ but I still think we should maybe slow down and perhaps not publish 20 books in a year that were rushed through editing, and instead focus on properly editing 10?
I'm curious, what do you do when you find yourself reading a book full of grammar mistakes? đ Continue or stop reading?

ARC Review: I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Overall rating: 3.5 đ Available now on Kindle unlimited
Ok, I have mixed feelings about this but it was a pretty solid read overall.
I really love the feel of this book. It reminded me in the best possible way of all of the 2000s paranormal movies and shows like The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Being Human. The wereball scenes reminded me of the baseball scenes out of Twilight. It was funny and a little bit cheesy but in a good way. I loved the werewolf lore added like how the mate bonds worked. I really loved the characters in this and I loved how the romance was set up and developed.
Unfortunately, this was slow-paced for me. It just takes a while for the plot to start. In the story, it makes sense for there to be a little bit of miscommunication between Yvaine and Logan, but it just got irritating to read by the end. If these elements were better, I would definitely have rated this book higher.
Even though the execution could have been better, I still enjoyed this and I would recommend overall. I will continue the trilogy when book 2 is released. Thank you to the author for sending me this ARC.
