My only issue with this book is that I’m not loving Scarlett, which is totally fine! Except that I really don’t understand what Julian sees in her. I am lovingggg Julian and understand why Scarlett is into him, but I genuinely don’t see why he is into her, other than that she’s pretty. And if that’s the only reason, then that is so lame 🫠

I am yet to have a 5 star read this year, which is very rare for me as it is usually one of the most common ratings i give books (i am an optimistic rater LOL)

so!! convince me to read a book you loved, sell me on it! i read pretty much anything and everything, and my TBR listed here is all books i own if you want to take a look, but i am very open to any and all recs.

I’m getting reallllll nervous watching AI companies chop up our books and destroy them, and I’m worried we’re entering a new era of book burning and mass censorship. I’ve never been into nonfiction, but I want to preserve our knowledge before they put it behind a paywall or distort it.

Do any of you have history book recommendations? I am open to anything that hasn’t been turned into a propaganda tool by the right. Open to US history or world history & interested in women’s history as well.

What book genre you find cool or interesting to read but there isn’t enough books about it?

For me I find steampunk fantasy is cool but I haven’t found much stories about it. I know now more writers are getting into this genre of fantasy.

My sister is making a book journal for a friend and would like to include some romantasy recommendations. Unfortunately, it's not a genre I read at all so I come to you in my hour of need 🫶 I looked through quests and lists but it all looks the same to me 😭

I know her friend has been reading romantasy for a while now so she has read the classy romantasy titles like Throne of Glass, ACOTAR and Fourth Wing already. I say classy because even I know of them 😂

If you could give me a couple of recs I'd be really happy. Spice is okay, she is early 20s but I'd prefer if it wasn't dark spice 🫶
