I don't know if it's the other vampire book I'm reading that's pmo or if I'm going into a reading slump (lord I hope not!), but I'm not into this as much as I was when I started it.
Like, it's nice, I guess, but I don't really care about it. I don't really want to stop reading it though, so I'll just keep going for now and see where it goes.

I loooove books where you can't tell if the magical element is real or if it's just the main character being mentally not okay. I like when I have to squint at the writing trying to figure out if it's all real, or if it's just an overactive imagination. Eating this one up!
(it's making me want to read The Wicker King again. Love me some toxic codependency — my kind of dark romance, lol)

I have no idea what this is about. I am going in with absolutely no information. I am emotionally preparing myself to be hurt.

This book is like having Jack's POV in The Wicker King, while The Wicker King is basically Thomas's POV here. I love it!
