A well-paced read that revealed more and more as you read. You can't help but get attached to the characters. I especially liked the way that the backstory of each character was woven into the story - no info-dumping! The other thing I loved was the bonus of feeling like I got more than one ending. Some books finish in a grand finale, and that's that. This one gives you the satisfaction of the grand event, and then keeps going as you travel a little further with our intrepid adventurers, leaving you with a happy glow as you finish the book

Well, pass me a cinnamon bun, I'm done! A nice relaxing read - and so fragrantly described at times, that it was tangible.

I started last night and soon slipped easily into chapter 10, then 17 today. With a read as smooth as a good Colombian roast, it's got an easy pace but still delivers good story development. I get the feeling things are going to pick up a bit now, though. And now I want an Amity!!!!!

Whether read, seen performed live, or even the film adaptation, it never ceases to amuse. Razor wit and observation nestle alongside the ridiculous.
