    Favorite book genre?

I was thinking about it, like, I mostly read thrillers/horror books, and I always say that I’m not that into romances, but clearly I’m a sucker for a good romance every once in a while and recently I’ve been very in non-fiction. So what’s the genre you gravitate the most? For me I think it depends on my mood 😹 and you?

  • Would you rather...

Inspired by blush's post, would you rather not see the cover of the book or not see the blurb on the back? So either the cover or the back of the book will be blank.

  • I judge a book by its ___

Be honest: is it the cover, the title, the author, the blurb, the vibes, or the hype?

  • Paperback or Hardcover?

For those of y'all with home libraries, what do you prefer to buy: paperback or hardcover format? Would love if you could also share why that's your preference (e.g., is it an aesthetic consideration or based on what you like to hold or something else)!

  • A book you didn't like?

I'm working on completing a book bingo for my local bookstore and one of the prompts is to read a book a friend didn't like. I don't have friends that read often, so I thought I'd ask here... Recommend me a book you didn't like!

  • Blurbs?

I’m just curious how many people read the blurbs? Or the summary on the back? I’m a go in blind kind of person. I rarely will read the blurb/summary. I like having no idea what the book is about and then figuring it out as I read it. Anyone else?

I'm on the home stretch... (82%)

And it feels bittersweet. Once I have finished this book, that's it. I'll have read all of ToG, CC, and ACOTAR. I know I can always reread, but there's something poignant about it all the same.

I'm really having trouble getting into the story. I don't find the universe that interesting. At the same time, I'm reading this after finishing Iron Flames, which might affect my judgment 😅

  • A message from the heart

I just wanted to say that I have really, really, REALLY been loving Pagebound and the community within. I have always read for myself; most of my friends aren't big readers etc. I feel like I've made pals here, and it's made me actually excited to continue with books, write about it, and interact with everyone! On social media, I'm not typically one for interacting with people/pages but it's different here. I'm still relatively new here but I just appreciate this so much. ♥️♥️
