I loved this just as much as loved Throne of Glass. I loved seeing Celeanas cold hearted badass persona come through, it honestly gave me chills.

Chaol isn't as bad as people make him out to be. Did he do something wrong? Yes. But he's still better than Tamlin from ACOTAR, so there's that. And I love Dorian, he's definitely my favourite!

And the plot twist at the end? I already knew it because of spoilers. But even without the spoilers, I would've guessed from the little clues throughout the book. But regardless of spoilers, I still felt shock and excitement reading it.

Overall, I loved this installment of the series it's exciting, funny and cute in some places and also heartbreaking (although I feel it's nothing compared to the other books) and I can't wait to see how everything turns out. Now onto The Assassin's Blade.

The emotions I felt during this book were tenfold. I was excited to know what was coming next. I love all of the characters (minus the evil ones). But Celeana was my favourite by far.

Some parts were slow, but it's the first in a series and SJM wrote it. The first is always slow when she's writing it.

I'm glad I gave this book another chance.

I loved this book. It's steamy, exciting and relatable in places. Stella is the most relatable FMC in the whole series, she has a chronic illness and always helps those she loves no matter what, very much saw myself in her at times.

Tyler was prettv much a closed book throughout the series, with Navessa only giving us glimpses of his character. But in this book you see a whole different side to him and I loved learning about him and why he is the way he is.

The whole story is messed up and brilliant at the same time. Loved every second of it. Bravo again to Navessa, this trilogy will always hold a place in my heart.

I remember trying to read The Lord of The Rings when I was a teenager and couldn't get past the first chapter, I was THAT bored. But I've recently watched all the extended versions of LOTR and The Hobbit and had the urge to read them, so thought I would start with this one.

It's a very different writing style from what l'm used to, considering it's written like the author is telling you the story themselves instead of using a POV. But I quite enjoyed it, especially as it's not hard to follow

I will say that it's verv descriptive, it makes vou feel like a lot is going on, but nothing at all, all at once. I would've liked more dialogue, especially with the dwarves, but other than that I enjoyed the read. J.R.R. Tolkien is a great author.

Boring, not my cup of tea. Reads more like a fanfiction from wattpad than an actual book.

After a month l've finally finished.

This book is beautiful, heartbreaking and eye opening. You learn so much more about Haymitch and what he went through and understand him more. Why he drinks. why he keeps himself closed off and why he can be a little mean, it all makes sense

l've always liked Haymitch and this book made me love him.

Amazing storyline, amazing writing. 10000x better than Snow's story. Bravo Suzanne. Can't wait for the next installment.

This book offers an interesting look at the origins of the Hunger Games and the aftermath of the war, which I really enjoyed. However, I just didn't like Snow as the main character. Knowing who he ultimately becomes made it hard for me to sympathize with him or see him as relatable. The only person I hated more was Dr. Gaul. If you've read it, uou'll know why. That said, I found myself most engaged with the broader storyline and with Lucy Gray's character rather than Snow's personal journey Don't get me wrong, Suzanne Colins is undoubtedly a talented writer, but this installment didn't resonate with me as strongly as the original trilogy. I might have been more invested if the story had been told from a different perspective.

To say I cried while reading this book would be an understatement. I completely sobbed like a baby. What happened to Peeta, Finnick and Prim broke me. I cried as if they were my own family, and honestly? I don't even care how that makes me sound 😂

This book is an absolute emotional roller coaster! I genuinely don't think there was a single emotion I didn't experience while reading this.

Why did nobody tell me how amazing this book is? Why have you all been gatekeeping it from me? 😭
