For a book I expected to be light holiday fluff, I fell in love. I fell in love with everyone. Bastone knows how to write a likeable/lovable character right from the bat. Lenny, Miles, Ainsley, Jericho, Lou … I loved them all. It felt so refreshing to read about love and grief and finding friendships and good people in such a modern day story. I connected so much with Lenny and alot of what she has went through , and I want to be part of her new friend group so badly.
I think this would make a wonderful film if it ever got picked up and I can’t wait to read another of the books by this author in hopes I love them just as much. Her writing style is everything I want from a book.

I really don’t think it will let you down. She’s become a go to author for me ever since I read this one.
