    We have 600+ page books that are full of filler with characters spending more time deciding on the best course of action than actually doing anything, that could have been wrapped up in the half the pages with no impact to the plot. Then we have books like this one that are under 300 pages that were more than worthy of double that. This is a story I would have loved to spend 600+ pages on.
