Everyone on here always recommends the most amazing books. The ones they loved, the ones that changed them.
But give me a fantasy book or series that you wanted to rip apart- that you only finished out of SPITE
I very much enjoy reading 1-star reviews of books to see if I would hate the book too, or if it would actually be for me. People are more honest about a book if they hated it š (in my opinion)
So give me a fantasy book you hated, and why?!

I read a lot this year, and in August I kind of started slumping but I was able to keep going by reading weird books I would normally never read, but eventually that wore off as well. I was fine with not reading for the rest of the year, but I know that if I donāt push myself out of the funk it might carry on for years (like it has before) SO:
If you have any fun, short, interesting books PLEASE let me know. I like romcoms to get out of my slump, but a fantasy will do as well! š§”

So far Iām enjoying the lore building although I donāt hate the characters Iām not fully vibing (canāt think of a better word) with them. I also think this book has definitely benefited from me reading by an audiobook as the the voice reading 100% sells me on this and makes the mass amounts of world developing that usually happens in fantasy series digestible without getting bored. I definitely think If I physically read the book It would be a dnf for me.

Struggling to rate this properly because I'm experiencing so much nostalgia šš but i do think looking back, some things in here are a bit outdated and the movie holds up a bit better. So for now I'm rating it a 4, knowing there'll probably 5ā in the future books of the series
This is still a great one to start off on though!
