Alright let’s see if I can make it through this audiobook before Halloween 🎃 I’ve never read this before so I’m very excited! Hope this makes me believe in vampires 🧛

I've been a long time reader, and have read many Classics over my life, both for school and on my own. Last year I decided to make a list of books I would like to pick up, but I feel like I'm missing some, so I'd love to hear what Classics people enjoy. Especially Fantasy and Sci Fi books, as lists of those seem harder to find.

I'm genderqueer and while I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, it feels a bit weird that most genderfluid characters I know of are shapeshifters and most agender characters I know are robots and a lot of the rest are aliens. They're cool but I'd love to read more books with non-magical human genderqueer main characters, I've already read a few but I'm always looking for more. So if you've got any recommendations (especially for books with bigender or genderfluid characters since that's close to how I identify) that'd be really cool. I'm not picky about genre but right now I'm not in the mood for something with a lot of heavy subject matter so I'd prefer things on the lighter side.

Kind of book related, kind of not. Has anyone on this site gotten the game Tiny Book Shop, yet? And if so, how are you liking it? I've unlocked 30 / 47 achievements so far. I love the fact that the book recommendations are real titles, although the last few updates made the recs part a little wonky. I had been waiting for this game to come out for a while, and pretty much told everyone I could to go get it when it released on Steam in August.

Looking for book recs! I love romantasy, romance, or historical fiction.

I feel like I've set unrealistic expectations for myself so I thought I'd check with the masses 😂 (maybe I am bonkers after all)

Do you set reading goals for yourself? If so, what are they? If not, do you have a reason you don't?

Personally, I try to read about 150, ideally 200, pages a day which usually evens out to about 3-4 books a week (1050-1400 pages). I got this number by tracking my pages on a paper I keep in my books and taking the average of a random week.
