I'm so curious about this one. I laughed so hard when Isaw they acttualy wrote THE book, and I said "I absolutley have to read it". And what better time than when the series is coming out!

Thoughts at Chapter 9.
I am having a terrible time trying to enjoy this book.
How can there be such a lack of descriptions but also an overwhelming amount of information?? I’m finding the world building so confusing because of this.
So there’s a way to get in-between the Fae world and the human world and the characters can do it so easily but it’s not explained how or why?? This seems like something that should be a lot more difficult to do. “We ride over the cliffs and then the sea,” the SEA? Wouldn’t this take a longer time to do??
ALSO. WHY does the author just stop the story to drop 3 little bits of information and then just resume the story instead of having this information organically flow with the story. That took me out of the book so much.
I can’t even understand what age the main character is supposed to be. I was under the impression this is an enemies to lovers book but the main character seems to be really young?? How she’s described and acts make her seem like she’s in junior high or younger. Unless there’s a time skip, I’m not sure how to romance will be?
idk!!! maybe i’m being too harsh but i am having a hard time getting into this book rn.

This re read helped me forget my heartache. Alchemised had been so intense. I enjoyed this more then my first read. Callie has painted such an interesting world. I can’t wait to get my hands on Brimestone :)
