hey PB! (peebs) i was just curious... how long do you tend to wait before starting a new book?
i was asked this recently and while i jump into the next one as soon as i've got the time, my partner said she has to sit and let it simmer first before taking in a whole new realm/plot/etc!
and for my fellow peebers that read So Many Books simultaneously, this question goes for you too!

okay we’re starting off kinda emo here. i’m already so sad that Stephen has lost his patron and i’m very curious to see how he handles it

So I must say, I’ve never read a Fredrik Backman book before but I heard this was going to be a heavy book so I’ve been holding off on reading this for a minute. However, I’m so sad I’ve waited so long because his writing style is amazing! I love the random tidbits that will build and be repeated when necessary, how we get to see these characters from different angles. He’s brilliant. This is so beautiful!
I often wonder when authors write like this, that they should also write memoirs bc that’s what the tone and feel of this writing is reminding me of - real life.
