If you’re considering supporting the girls by signing up for Page Bound Royalty but haven’t yet, do it! But also, this message is for you. Just passing along this info that I learned from Lucy’s latest Instagram post. If you sign up for PBR in-app, they incur a 15% fee. So if you’re considering signing up, I encourage you to do it on the web browser so the girls can receive the most pennies on your dollar. I know $1.50 doesn’t seem like much but multiplied by (hopefully) thousands of subscriptions, it’ll add up quick! That is all. Happy reading!

An introduction to the Thriller genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

If you consume literature across different mediums, what would you estimate your balance is? Obviously it can fluctuate, but I’m curious to see the community’s preferred consumption method.
Mine is roughly as follows:
Paper books: 60% eBooks: 30% Audiobooks: 10%

We all have that one relative like Uncle Benji that tells a ridiculous story over and over again and truly believes it. Charlie calling him out with objective facts feels like something I would do 🙈 When reading this in a book, kinda makes me realize I can unintentionally be an asshole when I do this lol

I am the master of having way too many books going at once. I see a lot of people on here with one book they are Currently Reading and it is absolutely wild to me, but I also totally admire it. Because focus is good.
How many books do you have going at once? What strategies do you use to not have too many going at once if you are a multi-book reader?
I see a lot of people say they have one of each type going (i.e. one kindle / libby book, one paper book, and one audio book). But I have usually three to four paper books going at once, and sometimes a kindle one or two on top of that. For me they are usually by room (one in the bedroom, one in the living room, one in my office). But sometimes I start multiple things in the same room because they are different genres.
I finished a book last night so now I am down to three simultaneous ones, but have definitely done 5-6 at once before.
