Every single word felt important. Not just that, every single word WAS important. If it wasn’t a callback or foreshadowing, it was symbolic, or setting the scene. Every word had its purpose. Oh my gosh I was hooked from the get go, and the ending!!!!! So good! The characters were so well written, I was heavily invested in so many of them. I wish I was half this interesting! It might be too early to say this, but I think this one will be my favorite May read.

“Silvi-UH” “LauREN” This book had me cackling with how ridiculous these 30 something’s were. I love a good enemies to lovers, but add into the mix that they’re childhood friends and it’s game over for me. I loved this story, their ambition, their heartbreak and loneliness, and of course, their eventual love. It was just what I needed.

This story was so sweet, I loved these characters! The book covered some heavy topics like grief and finding your identity in your middle age, and it was handled so well. I’m not going to lie, this book might have gotten a 5 star if there weren’t mistakes in the narration. It might just be me being picky, but stutters and repeated lines really take me out of the story and it takes a while to ease back into it. I don’t know if my rating would be different if I didn’t read it with the audiobook.

Katia Rose knows how to make a sweet story! These characters were definitely cute, and I liked the chemistry between the two. Surprisingly, this wasn’t a 5 star like her other books have been for me. I think I wanted more intensity from either the sport or like a long term goal or something, which is usually the point of a sport romance, but it was still good.

The perfect continuation of Those Who Wait! I feel like this book is everything I needed from the first in the series. Loose ends were tied and happy endings were had. I don’t have much else to say, compared to her 600 page book, this one was quite compact.

The book is mostly written like a small town lesbian romance while, as the reader, I feel like I’m reading it while sweating with the Jaws theme song playing in the background. I am horrified by the words I just read. If you need a book that’ll give you nightmares, this is the one!

Well, the best and worst part of reading a good series is that, eventually, you get to the end. I loved this story, it was satisfyingly twisty and often had my emotions all over the place. Despite their glaring faults, every single character in the book made me fall in love with them or hate them or both. I think I’ll be picking up another Ruby Roe after this. Kudos to Allie Rose and Anais Inara Chase, they did AMAZING with the narration.
