  • Genres???

What book genre you find cool or interesting to read but there isn’t enough books about it?

For me I find steampunk fantasy is cool but I haven’t found much stories about it. I know now more writers are getting into this genre of fantasy.

    Review for all 10 volumes.

Brian K. Vaughan is officially my graphic novel guru. He's killing it with Saga, and I loved this series. It's so good. I was hesitant with the first volume. This topic could have been a complete disaster. I'm so glad it wasn't. It was such a compelling and realistic commentary of gender and relationships. I think what I loved the most was how varied and diverse the female cast was. Granted, 99% of the cast is female, but there was such a range in race, sexuality, and personalities. You have your strong women and evil women; women who make good choices and bad choices, but are all strong in their own right. I was just so impressed with the narrative in general. It was seamless. While the explanation for why all the men died was a little ambiguous, even Yorick subtly pointing that out in the narrative.

The last volume was the strongest. Maybe it's because I binge read the series, but I cried through the last three issues. Everything is resolved really well, even if it was a sad ending for the series as a whole. I just loved the ending. It was so well done and so true to the characters. Highly recommend. I think I'd rate the series as a 4.5 overall.

Is this a role reversal story like Ooku?

  • How to Read a Copyright Page

So, someone mentioned to me that if I’m trying to determine if something is written with AI, I can always check the Copyright page because AI written things can’t be copyrighted? I also learned recently that Gen AI might have been used earlier than 2024, which is where my suspicions cutoff was at, so now I’m looking at copyright pages even harder. (To no avail.)

If this is true, can someone help me learn how to read these pages or point me in the right direction to learn? I’m comparing a lot of my more recent reads to each other but some are so different. I tried to yahoogle it, but I only find articles about AI copyright violations. 🫠

    Thanks in advance! ❤️

  • how many books do you read at one time?

As I'm reading more and more I'm discovering a lot about my reading habits! For a while I was a one book at a time kinda person and then I started reading a couple at a time, usually a novel, a graphic novel, and an audiobook, but the more I read right now I'm realizing I think I am a one book at a time person? I also think it depends on what my novel is because sometimes if my book is just too good, I don't want to read anything else because I don't want anything else to distract me from my book...

How many books do you read at a time and does it fluctuate?

  • Book organization

So, I was reorganizing my room because I have a lot of stuff from all my hobbies, and i was curious: how do y'all organize your bookshelf? I don't have a specific system, I just put the Sagas/Trilogies/Etc. together and that's all, I don't have a size, alphabetical, author, color or genre type of organization, I just go with ✨V I B E S✨
