I am doing it, I am going to attempt to read both books at once! I have done extensive research on this and the general consensus was that the cliffhanger at the end of Empire of Storms is way too intense and that going into another side plot was torture. I am a pretty type A reader and usually struggles to read multiple books at once, so this is new for me! I even color coded my two books to know when to swap!

Smut interdit !!!
Hello dear fellow readers, As a teacher I will probably read a french novel about Lancelot with my students (they're about 16) next year and I want to give them titles of other novels to read about "the invention of love" (the theme associated to the novel by the curriculum). I will give them the choice between Pride and prejudice, La Nuit des temps and Songe à la douceur but what about novels with queer love ? some ideas ? no smut please !!!!

Hi fellow werewolf lovers! I saw that new books were added to the quest 🐺♥️ Unfortunately I have some concerns regarding one of the books having a cover made by AI. I’m sorry about bringing up this topic but since PB is anti AI / prioritizes human creativity and a lot of people can care about this stuff I wanted to let you know! I had my concerns earlier regarding Bro and the Beast / The Wolf’s Mate series and I thought that maybe it isn’t worth mentioning (I just decided not to read it myself) but since a lot of people will be interested in reading this because of the quest I felt like as an artist I need to say something! 💔 There are a lot of books with beautiful covers in the quest made by talented artists and I felt like it’s unfair to them 🥺
Disclaimer: It’s my personal suspicion as an artist who sees a lot of AI works on daily basis but I can be wrong. Also, I don’t want to shame anyone who enjoyed this book, rather inform potential/future readers (if they care about stuff made by AI).
When I saw the first book’s cover it looked suspicious to me but I was ready to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, covers in later books in the series are more obvious.

Another thing worth mentioning is that at the time of releasing those books AI manga filters were popular. If you click on one of the links below you can find photos of men that are really similar in style to the cover arts. 1 2
Under one of the posts on author’s ig (for book 7 I think) someone asked who does the covers because there’s no credit in the book, and the answer was: My partner, Wolf, does most of my covers, including this series! The glitch reverted everything to an older version, but the updated file has the cover credit!
According to my source (a friend 😆) in the previous books there were no credits for the cover artist too 🙈
Joel also added a reel with a speed painting of a wolf(?) by Wolf. It’s an amazing piece BUT it isn’t art from any of the covers. (I think? I didn’t see one with this art)
Also, there’s a mention of Wolf’s account but he isn’t tagged (so it’d be harder to find him maybe?)
I searched the account and there’s nothing there, only the description. Imo if you want to prove that’s not AI there should be at least one or two posts?

Once again, I can be wrong and if that’s the case I’m really sorry to the artist (people make mistakes in their art but those doesn’t look like human made mistakes 😬). I made such a long post about it because art is something I deeply care about and I wanted people to be well-informed before reading this series 🥹
