"He wishes his brain moved in one direction, not a dozen all at the same time, and that he didn't pull apart in a panic if even one thing goes wrong."
This quote felt like a punch in the stomach because wow, how many times have I had this thought before? I have a feeling this book will mess me up.

I am a big DNFer and I encourage people to DNF for any and all reasons. If you're not enjoying or connecting with a book, DNF it. Life is way too short to force yourself through a book when you could spend that time finding another book you'll actually enjoy.

How are you dealing with a book you have trouble with ? Are you putting it aside, or do you keep reading it until the end, even if you don't really like it ?
I'm a vibes reader, I don't really dislike books (I only ever DNFed 1 book and it's a surprising one tbh 😭), but I always tend to keep going, even if I'm not the most invested in the story or the characters!
I'm curious about other types of readers! If you tend to DNF book quite often, are you not feeling like you're missing out on something ? I think I'm always hopeful that it's gonna get better 🤣
