Really cute! The plot was simple, but there was communication and coming to terms with who you are which I always like.

This is a cute little story. It's a friends to more, coming to terms with sexuality story. Nagaisa Furuya told their story well.
It shows Ren Mizushiro and Kai Makihara as their relationship develops through time. Starting in the current day, as their relationship changing and then shows their past and it's most pivotal points. It plays with emotions well and feels relatable. I like Ren, he has black cat vibes, but for Kai he's kinda sweet and tbh a different person. Kai is the strategist to the point of overthinking. He plays shogi, Japanese chess, something I really wish I could see more.
The annoying thing... I'm not sure where the title comes from. It comes from a line but that line seems to some from nowhere. I don't like that.
My thanks to Sawa Matsueda Savage for their translation.
