If your friends don't gift you underwear after a fight in order for you to forgive them, than who needs friends like this?

It just occurred to me how Sophronia's absence affects not only the plot, but the narrative. Beatriz and Daphne for all their animosity are actually pretty similar. They are both rather cynical and can be vicious. Sophronia was the odd one out, she was smart, but she was also kind and hopeful, qualities that her sisters either lack or don't indulge in.
Now Violie has taken Sophronia's place as the POV character. And she is a cynical realist just like Daphne and Beatriz. So we have 3 POVs and 3 characters who think similarly and sound the same. The only difference is the location.

Currently, I like it better than the first one. We learn more about the world and the magic system. However, I don't know how to feel about the decision of making Violie a POV character.
