You know, now that we actually have Grim's POV, it is clear that he was created only to love Isla. He is not a character, his entire existence revolves around her. He tolerates things and people that Isla likes, he hates things only because one time they caused her pain. If Isla steps on a lego, Grim would burn the entire set down.
