This was a good conclusion, however not as good as the first book in my eyes. This dragged a little in the middle, I think it could have easily been 100 pages shorter and still told the same story. I noticed some phrase repetition across certain passages and some of the dialogue made me cringe a little. The ending/last 100 pages make it worth reading to finish the duet. I still think the ravens were a great concept and really enjoyed that part of it. The shadow weaving feels a bit overpowered, but maybe that's my imagination running away with things.

If they torture their upper lips anymore, they'll have no lips left! Also, surely if you're bitting your lip nervously it would be the lower lip? I'm really noticing repetition of certain phrases pretty close together. I don't know if I'm just being pedantic

Everytime we go back to Sebian's POV I groan. I feel like he's an obstacle in the way at this point. That said, I kind of don't like any of them, all 3 are as bad as each other. This is 100% not feeling why choose, so I'm predicting something else has to happen. I can't see a "HEA" where they're both happy to share

"My bladder filled to bursting" - I feel like this is the second time there's been bladder talk in this series... eww unnecessary

I went in pretty blind to this, other than knowing it would be pretty dark (which it definitely was). Firstly I'd like to say, I'm so glad they turn into multiple ravens and not just the 1 bird. I also really liked that the ravens they turn into have different purpose.
I'm still confused as to if either of them even like her, logically I know they do (this is a romance after all). Also, as a lover of why choose, I feel so conficted, as I kind of only want her to end up with one of them. Usually in RH I have a favourite, but I'm always happy the FMC ends up with all of them and generally like everyone. Maybe I'll change my mind in book 2, but for me there's a clear winner.
As someone who doesn't really get triggered by things, nothing in this bothered me. But, I would think twice about recommending this to someone else, even though I enjoyed it.

I think my enjoyment of this book, was amplified by having previously read and been heartbroken by Manacled and also enjoying Dramione works. That being said, I still believe that my friends will be thoroughly broken in half by this book when I lend it to them, who don't follow any fandoms etc. Only at 1 section of part 2 did I want the pace to ramp up, which I felt it did very soon after. For me, I love the time jump, but I don't feel the need to re-read part 1 (maybe because I had read Manacled previously, I knew what was coming). This is the sort of book you read and then take a long break before considering reading something that isn't light and fluffy. Maybe I'll read some bad fanfiction to bring me back to life.
