Maybe it’s just because I read the midsection wildly hungover, but this ended up feeling very insta-love to me. I wanted more drawn out yearning. I liked both the character but wish Jack’s backstory had been more fleshed out rather than info dumped. The reveal felt like it lacked impact, rarely do I think a book should have been longer to tell a better story but, this should have had another 50 pages to fully round it off.
Not as good as the love hypothesis but significantly better than love on the brain

Yes it was very smutty, was it groundbreaking not a chance. I got through it super quickly as there wasn't too much substance. Would recommend if youre looking for something easy. If you don't like the bond makes them do it, maybe this isn't for you. I probably won't pick up the next one, but this was fun enough to have been worth the time.

I really don't know how I feel about this, but I also know that's part of what makes it so good. If it didn't deliver in driving a complicated emotional response, then it would have failed at what the author set out to do.
Most of the time I didn't know how I wanted it to end, did I really want Levi to end up with Asher or did I want something else to happen?
I found this a strong conclusion, if another book was released I would definitely pick it up, but if the story ended here I would be content.

This was so fun and dirty to begin with but then it just started to get boring... Once the "shockfactor" had worn off, he's just a really horny man that thinks he loves a girl but mostly it's just physical attraction, sexual compatability and lust. Everything was a little underwhelming and I probably should have DNFed after the first half that put me in a temporary slump. I'll be lending to a friend and telling her read the sexy bits but don't both continuing once she gets bored, I will just spoil the end for her!

Does he have any other thoughts than her pebbled nipples? The term pebbled is severely overused already... he's so horny all the time, I feel physically dirty
