Another solid monster lover read lol I really just wanted something quick and easy that I could finish in one sitting without high stakes and this fit that perfectly so slay
I found this one a little cringe at a moment or two but nothing too bad imo Definitley not gonna be the read for everyone, but if you like this genre, you already know you're gonna at least somewhat enjoy this lol

"Of course, it’s unconventional, but I never anticipated things would get this unhinged."
I'm always surprised by how well written these unhinged books are lol Super quick and easy read. Perfect if you like weird stories you can gawk at and go "wtf is happening" to. Also has a surprisingly sweet moment or two lol

"Your magic knew exactly who you were. That's why your spell was a shield, not a sword."
I highly enjoyed this book. It was so cute and cozy with a surprisingly good plot to follow along with. There were tons of themes of acceptance and equality that I heavily stand behind and love to see casually woven into a story. I also loved the ending despite it not being what I expected!
I loved having varying neurodivergent characters too! It was so good to see that representation across the spectrum and not just the extreme sides of it.
There is romance in it, but it doesn't overshadow or become the plot which is really nice. Perfect for a casual, quick read!
