Contrary to what's stated by the author, there were horses in America before the arrival of the Europeans

I initially read it some years ago and thought it was alright but since then Iāve studied ancient history for four years. Some of his claims seem quite subjective and could be argued against especially when he discusses the formation and organisation of early human society. For lack of a better word (from what I remember) he seems to āglazeā hunter-gatherer society quite a bit compared to early farming communities.

A good starting point to get into history but not to be taken as gospel. Iād recommend to use it as a bank of ideas for further research as some of his claims are sometimes quite subjective.
