Today is raining a lot and it's kind of cold (I'm a cold person 🥶), so I thought I would ask you what's the best way to read on a rainy and chill day? Do you read with a mug of coffee? Do you read in your bed or on your sofa? Tell every detail! 👀

hey boundlings! i used to do this every week here but i fell off the wagon coz life got in the way and now im back again!
there are moments where we'd feel despair and nothing seems to be going our way. i hope that this thread will give you a little something to think about, and how even during the toughest times, there'll be something you can still feel grateful for. if there isn't, im sending love and hugs your way and pray that things start to look up for you. 🫶🏻
ill go first!
been struggling a lot at work and decided to throw the towel one day without securing a job. thankfully, i managed to find one during my notice period. i'm almost done with my notice and will be taking a really short break before i begin my new role! 😇
my marriage with my husband - we've went through worst times but i'm just grateful that we're in an awesome place right now 🙂↔️ there isn't grand gestures or big surprises, just doing life together.
my parents - they're my absolute rock and i've been feeling guilty of not spending as much time as i'd like to. this will serve as a reminder that as we're navigating and building a life of our own, our parents are also aging.

I used to review books right after I finished them but recently after sitting with books for a while and my thoughts have developed more I have changed my mind and gone back and changed some reviews, for better or worse. So now I'm waiting longer, a few days to a couple weeks, before I review something. This ultimately works for me better now because how I feel after sitting with the book for a while is likely how I will feel about the book long-term and will be more accurate to my true feelings.
What are other's review timelines?
Note: there is no right way, I'm just curious 🧐

I have a few books I really wished I had DNF'ed but ended up reading until the very end. Do you also have any books you wish you had DNF'ed sooner or after you've already finished the book? If yes, why? And what books? 👀
