Oh my god, this is delicious. It's like a French soft cheese, creamy and salty and cool on your tongue, you want to take your time and savor every bite. It also contains the best description of a fat body that I've ever read, it's pure poetry the way she describes her curves and cellulite and rolls. It's just enough of a nod to the uncomfortablility of being in a bigger body while demonstrating all of the desire wrapped up in it as well.

I'm sorry. I can't. Don't hate me.
I was promised BANTER, I was promised Harry and Sally, I was promised (expected) friends to lovers. WHERE?? I have no idea why these two even like each other outside physical attraction.

It's...fine. The audiobook is enjoyable enough that you can fly right through it. I liked the FMC enough to pull for her. The twists weren't really big surprises. The plot gets repetitive in the "one step ahead, but he's one step ahead, but I'm three steps ahead but he's also three steps ahead." She's just so good at being a spy without any real explanation. I wish one of the flashbacks had been used to show her training so it made sense a bit more. Also helps that she found the one person who can hack any computer and crack any code and plant any evidence.
There aren't really any stakes but that makes it a great popcorn thriller/beach read.

Dangle a When Harry Met Sally re-telling in front of me and I'll bite the hook every time, but I will go in with very high expectations. This was not what I hoped it would be. It was actually kinda perverted, at least from the male pov. But maybe my brain has been re-wired to read the male pov in a Joe Goldberg manner. Definitely something uncomfortable in the way his thoughts worked though.

I don't like this. I don't understand the insta-crush and the banter just isn't there. Most of their interactions are their obsessions over the other in their minds. Already had my first involuntary "ew" eye roll. Flipping show me something, please!
I'll keep reading.
