I have been in a deep and depressing book slump since August and I just can’t seem to get out of it. I just finished my first book that I actually devoured and I thought I was finally getting out of my slump but I’m scared it’s a one off because now I feel the same depressing slump like mood that feels … depressing lol (idk if that makes sense 😅). Anyways, recommend me some books that you think are incredible or cured your book slump! I read just about any genre.

An honest, funny, snarky and sometimes old-man cranky look at this chapter of his life, centered around the purchase of a beach house in Emerald Isle for his family to enjoy together. It covers the back and forth emotions of managing an elderly parent as well as the suicide of his estranged sister. Mixed in are some lovely snippets of life, from befriending a wild fox, feeding time for snapping turtles, and a particularly fun live recording centered around road rage curses in different languages.
