Hi everyone! I was wondering, does anyone else write down a little note on why you chose to TBR a book? I'm trying to switch to shelves now here on PB, but before I had all of the books tagged w the "reason" I chose to read them! For example, if I saw them on a quest, if a friend recommended them, if I randomly found them at the library.. I used notion before, so I had main groups+tags/notes. For example, main group "recs_by_friends" and then different tags with the names of the friend; or main group "library" and then tags like "blurb!" "librarian recommended" or even just a feeling tag (soft, crying)... I always had a lot of TBR books and going through my little notes was always super helpful because most of the time they made me remember why I chose that specific book, and being a mood reader I could choose my next read without having to (re)read the blur. I guess I do that because I get more hyped for a book by knowing something about the potential emotion it will leave me (or knowing that a friend liked it), more than reading what it is about by the few sentences at the back, but I also know that I'm the only one doing this among my friends, so it could also just be me having short-time memory ahah
