The idea of this book was cool. But it just felt very rushed in parts and clunky in others. It just lost me through it. I read it whilst getting a tattoo and was able to finish it in a sitting but I would have DNF'd if I had brought a different book or even headphones to listen to something else. I wanted to like it but it just wasn't for me

This feels very on brand for the "for fans of Dungeon Crawler Carl" crowd. There's this ridiculous nature so far. Bob is quite the character. Lot more rational, given the circumstances.
Also the bit about America...well given what's happening right now, makes it hit a bit too close to reality than I think Dennis had intended lmao

A beautifully written whimsical story that made me feel the wonder if reading fantastical stories as a child. A found family plot library with lovable characters. 100% recommend to anyone and everyone
