Cute, cozy, magical. The change in Aurelia was great to see. Certainty helped her find her voice and know that there are people who care about her.
The townspeople of Shpelling were great characters. Loved the growth and acceptance in each of them as the mages tried to help their town.

My first book by Mary Kubica and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There were so many different things going on and I really didn’t know who was the culprit.
The 2 POVS were great and how everything connected at the end was such a great twist.

So this one started out interesting and had great cozy witchy vibes but it just became a bit boring to me. I skimmed through the spice scenes because I just didn’t really care about it. I felt like I just wanted to rush through the book to finish it although I did want to figure out the hex part of the book.

The whole time I was like please just TALK and communicate with each other. Jonah and Miller are the sweetest guys. They’re so intuitive and caring. You’ll feel heartache and heartwarming moments throughout this book.
I kind of wish she read the letters…

Okay now I need to go watch Gilmore girls or Disney channel….
The book starts out sad for a certain character and takes a wild turn. Lots of EVIL sexual torture and killing in this book. It reminded me of criminal minds.
There was a big plot twist half way that I didn’t see coming. I felt like the chapters were so long which made me put the book down more often.
I might read another one of this author’s books but I’m not sure. It just was super graphic. Definitely can’t read books like these too often.

Loved the storyline, the characters, the spice. Funny and sweet banter. Koen was protective yet so sweet and caring to Serena. I loved seeing his soft side come out with his mate.
There was suspense, mystery, passion, protectiveness, forbidden love and surprising revelations.

This one took me a little bit to get into it but once Posy and Luke were introduced I liked it more.
I did feel like I had to reread sentences over again because I just wasn’t super captivated by the story but it was overall a cute witchy read.
The plot got more interesting towards the 75% mark.
It felt like it could have been a YA or kids book but the random cussing and little sexual references were thrown into the mix.
