With the current news - and my current read - I have, once again, lost my faith in humanity a bit. While I know both good and bad exist and the line is often blurry and that we need to confront the terribly things in order to change them, I need a pick-me-up. I need to be reminded that hope and good people still exist. I need to be hugged by a book. I think maybe some of y'all feel the same way right now. So we can get up and be better people for a better world.
I do love fantasy (cozy and not-cozy alike), queer books and non-fiction, and I know quite a few books already (I even have a list about hopeful reads and one about community). But I need something new, something that reminds me that there is light and love and kindness.
So, please, hit me with your most hopeful, warm books that feel like a cup of hot chocolate sprinkled with love and courage.

Guys this book is long, and I've barely started it, and I'm pretty annoyed by the characters already. Can someone tell me if I should keep going??

It’s too much damn information!!!! I’m really enjoying this book but all the information is too much. I feel like it’s nothing then bam!!! 600 explanations about the cards… if I didn’t feel so lost I think I could enjoy this more. Anyone else? Or am I just a dumb ass?! Possible….
