This is a good book to pick up between heavier sci-fis. Itâs funny. It does cool kaiju science. Jamie lifts stuff. Thereâs not a lot of character work, or plot, but it was funny and I had a good time.

Reading this felt just like listening to the podcast. I switched between audio and physical, and it was so nice to hear their voices.
This book feels like being a citizen of Night Vale, revisiting neighbors and still being surprised by the secrets you didnât know. I loved exploring the man with the deerskin suitcase, and getting to see librarians hunting in their natural habitat.
It also hit on some harder aspects of living in such a weird little town. I wonât say much, but the focus on mothers and children was really good. Lucindaâs whole âbe kind to the mothers of Night Valeâ speech had me staring at a wall for a while.

Guys let's play a game đ. Describe your favourite book or one of your favourite books as badly as possible and let others guess it. Iâll go first!
Summer camp turns out to be mandatory military training for neglected children and in this said summer camp, A child is blamed for a crime he didnât commit and must road-trip across America to prove it.
Can't wait to guess your books!

Probably couldâve finished this in one sitting. I really enjoyed the layout of the story and how each persons point of view built off of the last.
At first I didnât see what people were saying about the story falling off and losing momentum because up until the pov of student A I was having the best time ever. But I think heâs just so fucked up and selfish that it just brought the mood down.
I would recommend this read! Itâs a 7 hour audiobook but felt like 3 or 4 the time flew byđł
