  • August Reading Check-In ✔️

Hey everyone! As we dive into a new month, I thought it would be a great time to check in on our reading journeys! Whether you’re a voracious reader, in a reading slump (like me) or just picking up the habit, I’d love to hear about your progress. I just finished my first book of August yesterday—"The Naturals" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes! It was such a thrilling read, and I couldn't put it down. Now, I’m currently reading "Collide" by Bal Khabra, and I'm enjoying it so far. I wanted to ask everyone on their reading progress and what you're currently reading this month and to-be-read books for this month! I think it it would be cool if some of us have the same books lined up in our August tbr, and of course I'm looking for interesting reads/recommendations in your August reads. Whether it’s a highly anticipated release or a hidden gem you've been meaning to read Feel free to drop your thoughts! Let’s inspire each other and keep the reading momentum going. Happy reading! 📖✨

  • Sci-fi for beginner recs🌌🖖

Hi! I really want to read some sci-fi books this month because all I've been reading so far were romance books. I wanted to change pace and try reading a sci-fi book. I was hoping any recommendations to a sci-fi newbie like me 🫶

  • Seeking: Good Romance Audiobooks

When I dive into audiobooks, I typically read non-fiction, but am trying to get into more fiction audiobooks. I'm learning that I'm a bit fussy about the narrators, though, especially when it comes to reading romance, when a bad narrator can make a steamy scene go cold. What are some of your favorite romance audiobooks?

  • July Wrap-Up 📚

How many books have you read this month? What were your five-star/favorite reads? It's a slow month for me; I was in a reading slump the first half of the month and was busy with moving out of our apartment. I read 3 books in total: - The Strawberry Patch Pancake House by Laurie Gilmore (⭐⭐⭐⭐) - The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore (⭐⭐⭐) - The Dare by Elle Kennedy (⭐⭐⭐⭐) All great books, but my fave is The Dare. It's funny and cute at the same time. Special mention to my favorite discovery this month, too, Pagebound! If it weren't for this site, I wouldn't have been able to get out of my reading slump. ☺️

    Animal narrator recs🐾

Does anyone have any recs for books narrated by animals?? It's one of my favorite things to read about and I was curious if yall felt the same way and had any recs? I feel like all of Erin Hunter's series and Tui T. Sutherland are really fun examples but also books like The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate and Watership Down by Richard Adam's! It always make for an interesting story and I love being able to read from such unique perspectives! <33
