Blew through this book but cant say I enjoyed it. Lillian is unhinged, unfathomable and unrelenting woman who just spirals with alcohol and drugs. She is very much in the mindset that everyone is out to get her and her lying is stacking up by the chapters. I could not relate to her, she didnt want to take any ownership of her wrongs and lashes out on everyone she meets. The author does have a great way of pulling you into the story and wanting to find out what happens next which kept me going but overall, I freaking hated Lillian.

Devastating haunting but beautifully written story about a young woman and her woes in love and the law. All Mira wants is to be taken seriously as a golfer in a time where women weren't take seriously, but all it takes for her to suddenly become an adult in everyones eyes is a tragic deadly accident. You follow Mira and the domino effect that one golf swing had on a young woman's whole life, the good, bad and ugly of it all.

I enjoyed this story which may sound odd to say because it does center around a tragic death but the way that the author wove the story was so intriguing and kept me hooked. Mira is a young woman who is writing her memoir from a mindset of acceptance, accepting her life with the mistakes and the ups and downs of everything but also understanding how it made her a better person in the long run. Their were so many good points of the story but overall I enjoyed following Miras thought process during it all, how she self reflected but also embraced her younger self.

I really wanted to like this book as the premise sounded interesting but the storyline fell flat. I did not connect with any of the women, there was a lot of characters that did not really add much to the plot and the ending was very bland. I was missing the tension and thrill of it, it was mostly just gore and everyone getting injured, not to mention Lynette was such a difficult character to understand and follow throughout.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review.

As someone who grew up in the times of vampire tv shows and movies, I devoured (pun intended) this story. It has everything you could ever want from a funny, genuinely good time rom com that involves a vampire prince and a reality tv producer.

Harper is down on her luck, jobless and lost when her spunky grandma asks her to house sit, but grandma is also hiding a big secret in that her renter is a vampire named Gabriel. Gabriel and Harper had me in stitches, they are hilarious and awkward but so loveable and endearing. I found such nostalgia reading this book and I did not want it to end, I loved these two but also the cast of characters that came along as well. There is a lot of growth in this book on both Harper and Gabriel's journeys and the story was really a refreshing take on the norm of vampire romances
