Has anyone else watched the original winx club series when they were a kid and noticed the similarities?? I have NEVER seen anyone else mention it but I cannot get past it to finish the series

So far, I’m enjoying it very much. I saw the show first before learning about the books, so I knew how the story unfolded from the show. Matthew Goode as Matthew de Clermont is just wow 😍 Anyways 2nd season is where book 2 is further more detailed and very different from the show. So it’s been very interesting to see those difference and thinking of reasons the production of the show cut this and that from the show. Philippe is very witty in the book and Marlow is annoying but bearable than the show’s character version, but I do like the actor who portrayed Marlow. ☺️ who has seen the show and then read the books or vice versa?

I was hyped to read this one after how much I loved Fourth Wing but Iron Flame is mostly repetitive and seems to drag on (even though I was only able to read 25% of it before giving up). I've read many reviews saying Onyx Storm is way better but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to read this one to find out. 😫
