Getting to watch how they try to navigate that and how hard hiding a relationship can be had me in my feelings. Watching Kip really struggle with it was sad. Being forced back into the closet pretty much was hard. In the end it works out for them. Will be continuing the series.

Little does he know that when he gets there and finally losing his virginity he would go into heat...and the person on the other side is no other then his brothers best friend Maverick. Their romance is fast paced and I loved every second of it.

Felt a big long. I've come to realize with this series that not much really happens the first 80 percent of the book and then all of a sudden everything happens at once at the end. I did feel how easy it was to kill the other gang and then part of the Russian mafia was a little too easy. There was really no fighting to it. For being such feared people and at the top of their own groups it was over in a matter of seconds. But still good. Enjoyed Marek and Misha, they seem to be an okay couple.

Once that portion is done we get to the actual vengeance for Roan. We get to see a new side of Roan while he pretty much takes back and control of his life. Loves the way it ended and I’m so glad that they get to have a nice and peaceful HEA

I will say the music that starts each chapter was not needed kinda pulls you out of the story for a few seconds. With that aside the story itself was decent. I personally don’t see the want/attraction between the two characters, seems more of a hey your my friend and you would due with being a partner.

We then get some crazy happenings that shake things up for awhile and get to see a new side of Cair (that we all knew he would be like) Then the last half we get to spend time while Luca learns who his father is and all the details and get to learn even more of himself. Beyond excited for the next book with Orian and how this war is going to go.
