I'm putting this on hold it's put me in a reading slump I have to read something else, hopefully I'll finnish it at some point though I'm associating this book with a headache now I think about it and I get some phantom headache and it's spredding to when I think about other future vampire reads, not good </3

I like this more now, I liked reading about Lucy and Mina (I'm excited to read Lucy Undying after this). Overall I'm not so bored anymore but some of the comments about women still irk me

Honestly this is kind of boring me, I don't think classic old books with bad descriptions of women and long conversations about not super important stuff is for me Usually I like longer books and getting to know characters and so to say "unnecessary" long dialogues and descriptions and so on, but right now it feels like too much and some of the lines about women just tic me off. And I know that that's how it was back then and all of that, but i still don't like reading about it when there are other things to read

I didn't love this, but I think that was mostly my fault for expecting too much of it. It was an interesting read, and very short. Sometimes it felt very repetitive though, like I was reading the same chapter over and over.
