“There could be endless versions of you, and I’d love each one as fervently and entirely.”

Book 2 was action packed and I loved every minute of it. My heart broke for Cameron and million times. Emery is such a badass and I love that she never gave up on Cameron. There were plenty of twists along the way and I only hope we get more Dark Force books. I am really curious about Reed and Nolan.
"Why was love withheld from me for my entire life until you?"
“My poetic soldier. So out of place, yet you’ve never belonged anywhere else…except, perhaps, in my arms.”
"My love took the form of you, Mori."

3.5 stars for story. 4 stars for audio. Every time Kane called Dahlia "wildflower" I just blush. The FMC was blinded by primal sexy time, which is fine because Kane is absolutely obsessed with her BUT babe come on, put up a better fight.

THAT ENDING? EXCUSE ME????? I am internally screaming right now.
"I guess the darkest minds are packaged in cute boxes sometimes."
immediately starting book 2 because I am quite obsessed with Cameron and Emery.
“I promise, Emery, when I kill you it will be with my knife to your heart."
"She is my morphine, and without her, I’m nothing more than an aimless monster."

ARC review Thank you, Ashley Warren and Luna Literacy, for this ARC of Fallen (The Marchetti Dynasty) Release date: December 9th, 2025
Fallen is the first book in The Marchetti Dynasty series. We follow Zara and Enzo after they share an unforgettable night together unknowingly starting a war between two crime families.
"No one looks for a ghost in clear heels."
I love Zara! I love her sass and personality. She had a few badass moments, and she really took her life and power back. The banter/flirting with Enzo was a favorite of mine. The bit with the cake was chef's kiss. She really had Enzo in a chokehold.
"Every scar, every sin, every breath I've ever taken - you own them now. There's not a piece of me that isn't yours."
Enzo is your typical possessive lovesick mafia man. He was very sweet and patient with Zara. I really loved all the moments he stepped back to let her shine. He made her feel so safe and always let her know that she had the power in her hands this whole time.
"Because she deserves more than to be consumed by me. And if I have to starve for a night to prove it, I f**king will."
I also fell in love with Violette and Lars and I hope to see them again in future books.

"Maybe this girl, this kindhearted, gorgeous girl, is the exception. The one good thing I’m allowed without the universe’s retaliation."
My heart physically ached for Chase. I really just wanted him to find his happy ending, and I am so happy that he did. Paige was so good for him. I absolutely loved Paige, but her storyline with her grandfather didn't feel as fleshed out for me. The true star of this book was baby D.
“I’m keeping you, Chase Harper. Now. Always."

Overall the book was a vibe , some of the pacing was off for me, and a few editing issues but 5 stars for a good time, 4 stars overall, and 10 stars for the last line and Onyx.

ARC review Thank you Ki Stephens for this ARC of Blue Willow Release date: December 5th, 2025
“Blue Willow isn’t just timber and ledger. It’s every stubborn hand that once held me. Every voice that waited for me to speak”
Blue Willow follows Elsie, who has returned to her grandmother Elspeth's inn after 8 years. There, she meets Wells, the grumpy tenant who has been patching up the inn. Elsie is burdened with pressure on herself to sell the inn and move on, but Wells wants to save the inn and all the magic that comes with it.
Blue Willow is warmth and comfort in a book. I am also a sucker for magical realism and watching the inn come alive again with Elsie really filled my heart. Wells was very much a grump in the beginning, but no one could deny his love for the inn and Elspeth. Despite their differences in the beginning, the slow burn was perfect for them. I really loved all the small interactions and conversations Elsie and Wells had with the inn. The inn clearly had so much to say and so much to give. Also, Elspeth's letters had me SOBBING.
"Don't . . . burn yourself out to keep everyone else warm."
"And I love you, Wells. The rest is just cinnamon on top."

The guardians, specifically Poco, hold my heart. The twist at the end has me really excited for the next two books.

"Love yourself enough to chase it. Love yourself enough to know that the only person who determines your worth is you."
I am still not emotionally well from this book. Cara's journey was beautiful, heartbreaking, but also uplifting. I cried, I laughed, and then I cried some more. Emmett is the MOST SUPPORTIVE book husband ever. This book THRIVES on found family and I love it. But, ugh, my heart lives for Cara and her story is so meaningful in so many ways. I am really going to miss these characters but I've had such a great time. Becka Mack gave us a really terrific finale for the series.
"All the love in the world will never make up for the love I need most: my own."
p.s. still crying over oreos

ARC review Thank you to Raya Morris Edwards and The Author Agency for this ARC of Jensen Release date: November 11, 2025 check TWs: your mental health matters
Jensen is the fourth installment in The Sovereign Mountain series. Past and present collide when Jensen, our emotionally guarded cowboy with a dark past, meets single-mom Della.
"But with Jensen, I am a woman of my own making."
The chemistry/tension between Jensen and Della is fantastic. I love the character development for both of them as they navigate their own trauma. What I love the most was the way they created a safe place to work out their trauma. Jensen and Della felt so natural and brought each other so much comfort. It was actually really cute how hard Jensen fell for Della.
"Della feels like grace, like the first time I've been offered forgiveness instead of being asked for it."
Della is my favorite FMC so far. Her soul has so much fire and has so much determination in creating a brighter future for herself and her son. I think she immediately saw the protectiveness in Jensen and was able to let her walls down for him.
The ending was so satisfying but also a little sad for one of the supporting side characters. Although I am hoping we get a book out of it. Jensen is now my favorite in the series.

This was such a satisfying ending. Avery had so much badass growth and I am happy she get her happy ending. Still a huge Grey/Theo fan, and I guess Damon can tag along as long as he brings the casket. IYKYK
