I've come to the conclusion that this is just one for those books - and likely series - that aren't for me.
I don't care about any of the characters. I'm only very mildly intrigued about the story of a few of those we have met thus far. I don't care about the world. I don't care about the story.
And I still don't care about the author's writing style.
That's it, I'm done with this book, for now at least. Might revisit this series another time, maybe.

Luckily, I've never been one of those people. I don't suffer from FOMO syndrome.
Quite the opposite, I often can not care less about whatever is popular for whatever reason. I've always been living my life happily on the outside of most things popular or, at the very least, at the edges.
Maybe that's all what's "wrong" with this book. 😄
