I could have given zero stars and simply glossed over this thing, calling it a book is an exaggeration, I could have dwelt on how much I dislike Yrene (more than the "bad guys" omg everything about her personality pisses me off), about how cold Chaol leaves me and how desperately I wanted to see more character in Nesryn, towards the end I was satisfied with her, and Sartaq too, even if it felt too little. Not to mention how much the setting of a book contributes to my feelings about it (and in this I only save the mountains of the second part). I was ready to do it, but while reading part of this book I got a headache.

Headache caused by reading this book, do you have any idea how much one must hate a book to have such a repulsive physical reaction? A lot.

Therefore, this book will end up on my blacklist, next to Maigret, Philo Vance and Young Sherlock, the books that made me physically ill while reading them.

Disclaimer: I'm not DNF because with the two Acotar coming and a possible crossover, I don't want to miss important details or reference ON MY OWN, without finding them on the internet. I'm forcing myself to continue in order to understand the connection myself. And the fact that I liked CC and Acotar, I wanted to read Tog too.
