Thanks #netgalley and #Ballantine! Unfortunately, I think I'm gonna DNF this book. I just feel like it's taking too long and it's not as twisty and turny as I thought it'd be. It's like, a really slow-paced thriller, and I like my thrillers to be fast-paced and on the nose with multiple plot twists. So, it wasn't for me, and I'm kinda disappointed because a lot of people gave it a good rating and it has four stars. I thought I'd enjoy it because that's usually how I get my recommendations if it's scored pretty high. Sometimes I do read books that are a little lower on the rating scale because I find that I thought it was a four or five-star compared to other people, but this literally just wasn't it. I just felt like, I know I'm barely halfway through, but it just feels so slow and it wasn't getting to the point or at least trying to get to the point or give us clues to get to the point. So yeah, sorry, it's a DNF.
